Stor Seagrass Basket

Made by hand, the Stor basket simply translates in Swedish to mean big and great, which could not be a more perfect way to describe this beautiful new product. Its generous size means the Stor basket is perfect for storage, whilst still bringing that Scandi feel to your home through the soft natural tones of seagrass and the white binding.

Each basket is carefully made by hand, by talented crafts men and women in Vietnam, using traditional tools and techniques. In a lovely soft, natural finish, these baskets are made from seagrass exclusively for ALSO Home by Artisans in Vietnam and then wrapped and woven in white plastic string. When the seagrass is picked from the fields, it starts off green, but as it dries, it turns into a lovely soft natural colour. Being hand made, each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece with small imperfections a charming reminder of its humble process.
